As soon as you know that you’re are pregnant we are happy to schedule an appointment for an intake and early ultrasound. After the intake we schedule check-ups to monitor you and your baby. You will meet all the midwives so you can get to know us and develop a bond with us.

Centering Pregnancy

CenteringPregnancy is an exciting way for women and their families to get prenatal care. Medical check-ups take place in a group setting. Numerous scientific studies have shown that taking part in CenteringPregnancy meetings improves the outcome of your pregnancy and gives you more self-confidence during pregnancy, childbirth and in your new role as a mother.

Ultrasounds

We perform all basic care ultrasounds, beginning early in the pregnancy. In addition we also provide elective ultrasounds (non-medical ultrasounds), such as gender scans or 3-D ultrasounds. The best images are printed out and you can access all the pictures in an app on your smartphone.

Prenatal screening

You can choose to undergo prenatal screening to have your unborn baby tested for a number of congenital disorders. These screenings are not required, and you determine whether you want to have them done. We will ask at the intake if you want more information about these screenings.

Healthy lifestyle

Before and during pregnancy a healthy lifestyle and diet are important. Begin by taking folic acid and vitamin D. Smoking, alcohol and drugs are harmful to the pregnancy and need to be avoided. Be aware and avoid contact with harmful substances or pathogens.
